New Year's Fun

For New Year's Eve we often spend the night late watching many movies and this year we took a break to play some catch phrase. It makes for a very interesting event considering ages vary from 8 on up. One of our favorite experiences:

Adam: its 3.14
Family: Pi!!!
Adam: and the little mint candies people like to put in coke bottles
Family: Mentos!! pi and mentos? pie?
and the real answer is... Pimentos!!!!

Professional Athletes

This year Santa brought us a Wii for Christmas. This has led to Ryan and the other kids becoming "pro" at all sorts of sports. Ryan will tell you how easy it is to be a pro tennis player/bowler/etc. He's been quoted as saying "bowling is so easy because all you do is bowl!"

Tonight we started a bowling tournament so everyone gets to take turns and compete without having to go into town and pay to go bowling. Its probably just about as entertaining to the kids and it's free! Yay for family nights, even if it's just on the Wii!!

White Christmas

I thought we should go back and post some pics of Ryan's (poody's) baptism. We definitely got a white Christmas this year ;)
